Meriter Now Offering Allergy/Immunology Services

Dr. Jeremy Bufford, Allergist & Immunologist

The Meriter Medical Group is proud to welcome Jeremy Bufford, MD. Dr. Bufford will lead the new allergy & immunology division for Meriter. Dr. Bufford is accepting appointments and will begin seeing patients (adults and children) today (July 3) at both the Deming Way and DeForest-Windsor clinics.

“The Wisconsin climate offers four distinct seasons, each one defined by unique allergy and asthma triggers. We can work together to provide year-round relief from allergy symptoms and maximize asthma control, and my experience at a nationally recognized food allergy research institute will ensure the most up-to-date diagnosis and management of food allergies.”

Medical Interests
Dr. Bufford’s special interests include working with children and adults who have the following conditions: allergies, asthma, hay fever, food allergies, hives, eczema, anaphylaxis and immune deficiency (recurrent infections). 

Medical Philosophy
Dr. Bufford chose to devote himself to the field of allergy and immunologybecause it allows him to make a positive impact on his patients’ health and improve their quality of life. Dr. Bufford truly enjoys working with families and is able to develop a great rapport with young children. He treats his patients the same way he would want his family to be treated and takes the necessary time with each of his patients. Dr. Bufford makes it a priority to be available to his patients when they need him. 

Personal Interests
In his free time, Dr. Bufford enjoys spending time with his wife and beagle. He also likes to watch movies, cook, travel and attend concerts.
