Medical Philosophy:
Dr. Halanski has a culturally-sensitive approach to medicine and recommends the gold standard of medical care to all families, regardless of their socio-economic background, race or creed. She believes that a physician must be a teacher as well as a healer. The most successful discussions occur within an atmosphere of mutual listening and understanding. Each day, Dr. Halanski strives to provide that environment at Meriter Monona.

Medical Interests:
Dr. Halanski enjoys working with all children and adolescents, but has special interests in breastfeeding
support, newborn care, nutrition and asthma. She also welcomes families with children who have social and academic challenges.

Personal Interests:
Outside of work, Dr. Halanski does her best to find time to read, garden and volunteer at her church. Work-life balance tips are always welcome!
