Women in Midlife: The Challenge & Potential

http://www.meriter.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Star-County_Women-In-Midlife-2011-09-14.mp3┬áSuzanne Kilkus, PhD, spoke with Star Country’s Tracy and Mike about this program -┬áback by popular demand on October 1! Click the play button to learn more.

Back by popular demand is our program designed to address the unique issues facing women in midlife. “Is that all there is?” is a common question that triggers an awakening – and a yearning – that leads to our next significant stage of life. We may have either no idea or many ideas about what we want to do in the future, but one thing is certain – some aspects of the way we’ve lived so far won’t help us create what’s next. This is the time for taking new risks because we now have the experience, wisdom, courage and power to take greater charge of who we are and self-determine the contributions we make to build a better world for our loved ones, our communities, and ourselves.

We will address personal development, relationship, and creativity as central themes in midlife. Through discussion, self-reflection, inquiry, body-centered awareness, and group activities, we will explore and establish strong support for the life force within each woman, creating our unique design for the second half of life.

Our presenter, Suzanne Kilkus, PhD, is living the second half of her life as fully as she can. Her engaging and exciting workshops are based in the intention that learning is best when it is fun, involves whole body mind integration, and invites people into the full participation of their experience.
