Recently, we opened our clinic based Fluoroscopy Suite located in the Meriter Orthopedic Clinic at 2275 Deming Way in Middleton. The suite is equipped with a state-of-the-art C-arm and ultrasound machine, used to perform guided spinal and peripheral joint injections. With the addition of this procedure suite, the full spectrum of diagnostic (including EMG) and therapeutic services for non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal care are now under one roof.
Jared Greenberg, MD, an Interventional Spine Specialist, uses the new fluoroscopy suite to treat a variety of spine and musculoskeletal conditions including (but not limited to): bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica, pinched nerves/radiculopathy, sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction, facet joint arthrosis, spondylosis, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, pars fractures and whiplash injuries.
One of the greatest benefits of this clinic based fluoroscopy suite, is that patients experience their treatments in the comfort and convenience of a clinic environment instead of the hospital. This allows for a more relaxed atmosphere during the procedure, and faster recovery times.
