The green and gold fever that has infected much of the community is predicted to break out at Meriter on Friday, January 21. To ensure everyone’s comfort, Meriter Administration is encouraging employees to display their symptoms by wearing Packer attire.
To his chagrin, Chris Spanos, Director of Employee/Labor Relations, Chicago native and die-hard Bears fan, was charged with notifying employees. “I’m taking every precaution to guard against infection,” says Spanos.
Meriter employees have regularly been known to break out in red to support American Heart Month activities, but Packeritis has not been seen to this degree in years.
Health officials are also tracking a blue-orange virus that is virulent south of the Wisconsin border. Symptoms might be seen at Meriter on Friday as well. As a health care provider committed to carrying out its mission to heal, Meriter will accept individuals with these symptoms and suggest therapeutic treatment.
Check Meriter’s Facebook page on Friday for signs of green-gold fever.
