Dr. Berger grew up near Green Bay, WI. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, she went on to receive her M.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She has since provided care in both rural and urban communities. Dr. Berger has a passion for what she does and can truly say that she loves being a physician.
Dr. Berger believes that collaboration is the cornerstone of a strong relationship between patient and physician. She is an advocate for her patients and is fully invested in their care and well-being. Her role is not to dictate a treatment plan, but rather listen to each patient and work with them to ensure the best care possible. Dr. Berger treats each patient with kindness and respect in order to develop a strong relationship for the future. She is dedicated to her work and the health of each and every patient.
Dr. Berger originally chose Family Medicine because of a special interest in rural medicine, as well as the opportunity to serve a diverse patient mix. Her special interests include men’s health, geriatrics and end-of-life care.
In her free time, Dr. Berger enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading and cooking. She and her husband own a farm and consider themselves “weekend farmers.”
