Meriter to Open Stoughton Clinic

Meriter Stoughton - Opening August 13

Meriter Medical Group’s newest clinic, Meriter Stoughton, opens the doors to patients on August 13, 2012. Located at 100 Silverado Drive in Stoughton, the clinic is part of a growing group of eight primary care clinics located throughout the Madison-area to ensure convenient access to care.

“We want to care well for our community,” said Meriter Medical Group President Robert Turngren, MD.  “Access to the best patient experience possible is part of our commitment to provide high quality, community-focused medical care.”

The clinic will be staffed by two experienced family medicine physicians:

-          Dr. Vernon Partello joined the Meriter Medical Group from Mercy Health System in Edgerton. He enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, and has special interests in bariatrics, pediatrics, and patients with diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension and dermatological conditions.

-          Dr. Christopher Harkin also joined the Meriter Medical Group from Mercy Health System in Edgerton, and practices the full spectrum of family medicine, including pediatric and adolescent medicine, women’s health and men’s health. He has special interests in sports medicine and working with diabetics.

Comprehensive care will be offered at the clinic, including medical imaging and lab services.

To introduce the staff and facilities to the community, an open house is planned for Tuesday, August 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.  Clinic tours, refreshments, free family photos (pre-registration required) and more will be available at the event. Visit for updated information.
