Congratulations Friends of Meriter Scholarship Recipients

The Friends of Meriter awarded twenty scholarships to area high school seniors who plan to pursue degrees in health care. Tips from Meriter’s Greenbush Garden Bistro, Dr. Joe Coffee Clinic and valet parking fund the scholarship. Ten of the recipients have a parent who works at Meriter.

The students were recognized at an award luncheon on Wednesday, May 2. Since the scholarship program’s beginning in 1987, Friends of Meriter has awarded $396,000 worth of scholarships to 356 high school students pursuing health care careers.
