National Healthcare Decisions Day: Your Decisions Matter

The National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) initiative is a collaborative effort of national, state and community organizations committed to ensuring that all adults in the United States have the information and opportunity to communicate and document their healthcare decisions.  The 5^th annual National Healthcare Decisions Day is April 16.  All adults, regardless of age or current health, are encouraged to thoughtfully consider and communicate one’s own healthcare decisions to family, friends and health care providers.  Talking about your end-of- life care decisions before a medical crisis is one of the most important things you can do.
