New Specialty Clinic Serves both Digestive Health and General Surgery Patients

Meriter is pleased to provide Gastroenterology (Digestive Health) services in our new Specialty Clinic. Our team of providers treat such conditions as Celiac Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Gastritis, GERD/Heartburn, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Ulcerative Colitis

Meriter also offers General Surgery services within the Specialty Clinic. General surgery, despite its name, is a surgical specialty. General surgical procedures are numerous and involve different areas of the body. It focuses on abdominal organs, such as, intestines including esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colorectal, anal, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts. Surgeons also deal with diseases involving the skin, breast, hernias, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease. 

Our General Surgery team focuses on the following conditions: Emergency surgery, Colorectal surgery, Laparoscopic surgery, Breast surgery, Endocrine surgery and Dermatological surgery.
