Meriter delivers more babies than any other hospital in Wisconsin. We are reinvesting for the next
generation of Meriter babies by renovating our Birthing Center. After more than a year, our labor and delivery floor has been completely renovated.
Enjoy a special viewing of the 4 North space highlighting: 7 private triage, 13 delivery, 3 C-section and 3 recovery rooms. The next phase of the project is to update the 5 North floor post-delivery rooms.
“The new design will give all moms the same comfortable, private room experience, no matter how they deliver their baby,” says Kathy Kostrivas, Assistant Vice-President of Women’s Services.
Meriter is the only area hospital in the region to be awarded the Baby Friendly designation, which recognizes facilities that provide optimal levels of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies.
