Women in Midlife: The Change & Potential – The Expanded Version
“Is that all there is?” can be a common question that triggers an awakening for women at midlife that leads to the next dynamic and significant stage of life. We may have either no idea or many ideas about what we want to do in the future, but one thing is certain – some aspects of the way we’ve lived so far won’t help us in designing what’s next. This is the time of life in which we have the experience, wisdom, and power to take greater charge of who we are and what contribution we want to make to create a better world for our loved ones, our communities, and ourselves.
We will address personal development, relationship, and creativity as central themes in midlife. Through discussion, self-reflection, inquiry, body-centered awareness, and group activities, we will explore and establish strong support for the life force within each woman, creating our unique design for the second half of life.
Our presenter, Suzanne Kilkus, PhD, is living the second half of her life as fully as she can. Her engaging and exciting workshops are based in the intention that learning is best when it is fun, involves whole bodymind integration, and invites people into the full participation of their experience.
