Meriter Welcomes Amy Franta, M.D.
On June 28, Amy Franta, MD, joins the Meriter Medical Group and will begin seeing patients at the Meriter Orthopedic Clinic on July 5.
Dr. Franta specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery, as well as women's orthopedics and sports medicine. With an upbeat and approachable demeanor, Dr. Franta likes to involve her patients in their own medical decision making. She makes sure they understand all aspects of their surgery or rehabilitation and have realistic expectations for their treatment. Dr. Franta forms a long-term relationship with her patients based on mutual trust and respect.
