From the East – Take the Beltline (Highway 12/18) into Madison. Take the Park Street exit and merge onto Park Street. You will be heading north. Drive for approximately two miles, passing West Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Chandler Street and then take the first right onto Brooks Street. You will see the hospital ramp on your right. From the West – Take the Beltline (Highway 12/18) into Madison. Take the Park Street exit and make a left turn onto Park Street. You will be heading north. Drive for approximately two miles, passing West Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Chandler Street and then take the first right onto Brooks Street. You will see the hospital ramp on your right. From the North – If you are coming into Madison from Interstate 90/94, take the Highway 51 exit (Stoughton Road) at Token Creek. Head south on Highway 51. After passing Madison Area Technical College on your right, turn right on East Washington Avenue. Drive along East Washington for approximately three miles. Turn right on Paterson Street after Breese Stevens Field Park. Drive four blocks and turn left onto Gorham Street. You will drive past State Street and Gorham will become University Avenue. At the Park Street intersection, turn left. (You will know you've reached Park Street when you see the pedestrian bridge overhead.) At Regent Street, turn right. Then take the first left onto Brooks Street. After two blocks, you will see the hospital ramp on your left. From the South – If you are coming into Madison from Highway 18/151, this highway will turn into VeronaRoad. Continue to take Verona Road until you reach the Beltline (Highway 12/18). Take Highway 12/18 east. While on the highway, exit north at the Park Street exit. Make a left turn onto Park Street. Drive for approximately two miles, passing West Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Chandler Street and then take the first right onto Brooks Street. You will see the hospital ramp on your right.

Meriter Hospital - Parking and Parking Passes

Enter the ramp from Brooks Street through the u-shaped plaza. Once you've parked your car, take the ramp elevator or stairs to the Lobby level (2nd floor). All patients receive free parking. If you are an outpatient, you can park for free by having your ticket stamped at the desk of the department where you were treated. Please note that we provide a parking pass at no charge to each patient, as a service to our patients and their families. This pass entitles the holder to free parking for the length of the patient's stay. A family member or friend may obtain this pass by stopping in Guest Services. Guest Services is located at 2 Tower (Lobby Level), and is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Please note that we only issue one pass to each patient. Other visitors also can park in the ramp for a nominal fee. Parking is free on holidays.
