The removal of skin cancer often requires surgery to eliminate cancerous growths. A simple closure of the wound may not be satisfactory for most patients, as skin cancer typically occurs in highly visible areas of the body. Reconstructive plastic surgery can repair and camouflage skin cancer excision wounds.

Your skin cancer may be removed by your dermatologist or by Dr. Larson.  Based on the size, location and amount of cancer cells that need to be removed, the most appropriate surgical reconstruction will be determined.

Dr. Larson and his team have extensive experience in skin cancer reconstruction. You may achieve your desired results after one treatment, or it may require more than one procedure.  Visible scars soften over time but will always remain at incision sites. Every effort is made to restore your appearance as close to natural as possible.
