Orthopedic Trauma Surgery

Our orthopedic trauma surgeons, David Solfelt, MD, and Emily Exten, MD specializes in the treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. They work to maintain health and restore function of the bones, muscles, joints, and tendons through surgical means when necessary.

Musculoskeletal injuries and disease affect people of all ages and both Dr. Solfelt and Dr. Exten love the variety of patients and conditions he treats as an orthopedic trauma surgeon. They treat acute trauma and chronic injuries with the goal of seeing patients heal and return to their favorite activities.

Orthopedic Spine Services

Meriter welcomes orthopedic spine surgeon and Madison Magazine’s Top Doc, Craig A. Dopf, MD, to our Meriter Deming Way clinic. He’ll work with you to determine your best treatment options to reduce neck and back pain. With Dr. Dopf joining Meriter, getting the pain relief you need has never been easier.

Dr. Dopf works with patients of varying ages experiencing disabling pain and numbness or weakness in their neck, ar(s), back or leg(s). He treats the following spinal conditions: adult degenerative spine conditions, cervical thoracic and lumbar spine disorders, disk herniations, spinal stenosis, spinal fractures and spondylolisthesis.

Jared Greenberg, MD, Interventional Spine Specialist, evaluates and treats painful spine (and musculoskeletal) disorders without surgery.
