Meriter Hospital Map & Parking
Meriter is proud to offer valet parking for patients and visitors at our hospital. Valet parking is free for patients and qualifying visitors (e.g. immediate family or the person driving the patient); otherwise it costs a nominal $2, which includes parking. Patients and visitors seeking a validation should contact Guest Services or the Lobby Information Desk. Patients can also obtain a validation at Patient Registration. Valet service is available Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and attendants will retrieve vehicles until 6:30p.m. After 6:30p.m., please go to the Lobby Information Desk on the main floor to pick up your keys and get directions on how you can retrieve your vehicle from the parking area.
Driving Directions to Meriter Hospital
From the East – Take the Beltline (Highway 12/18) into Madison. Take the Park Street exit and merge onto Park Street. You will be heading north. Drive for approximately two miles, passing West Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Chandler Street and then take the first right onto Brooks Street. You will see the hospital ramp on your right.
From the West – Take the Beltline (Highway 12/18) into Madison. Take the second Fish Hatchery Road exit (north). At the end of Fish Hatchery Road make a left turn onto Park Street. You will be heading north. Drive for approximately two miles, passing West Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Chandler Street and then take the first right onto Brooks Street. You will see the hospital ramp on your right.
From the North – If you are coming into Madison from Interstate 90/94, take the Highway 51 exit (Stoughton Road) at Token Creek. Head south on Highway 51. After passing Madison Area Technical College on your right, turn right on East Washington Avenue. Drive along East Washington for approximately three miles. Turn right on Paterson Street after Breese Stevens Field Park. Drive four blocks and turn left onto Gorham Street. You will drive past State Street and Gorham will become University Avenue.
At the Park Street Intersection, turn left. At Regent Street, turn right. Then take the first left onto Brooks Street. After two blocks, you will see the hospital ramp on your left.
From the South – If you are coming into Madison from Highway 18/151, this highway will turn into Verona Road. Continue to take Verona Road until you reach the Beltline (Highway 12/18). Take Highway 12/18 east. While on the highway, exit north at the Park Street exit. Make a left turn onto Park Street. Drive for approximately two miles, passing West Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Chandler Street and then take the first right onto Brooks Street. You will see the hospital on your right.
