At Meriter, we are committed to your safety, and we ask you to be an active partner in your care. Here are some things you can do to make your stay as safe as possible:
- Share your health history with your caregivers.
- Ask questions if you don’t understand something.
- Ask your caregiver to check a medication before you accept it.
- Feel comfortable asking your caregivers to wash their hands before they care for you.
- Wash your own hands, and keep any wounds clean and dry.
- Know how to care for yourself at home after your hospital stay.
