Running is an extremely complex movement that requires precision in all aspects (mobility, strength and equipment) in order to do it proficiently. Slight faults in your mechanics are difficult to observe and can lead to debilitating injury.
With high-speed video analysis, Meriter Sports Medicine can provide solutions for runners experiencing problems with their running, and those looking to prevent injury or enhance their performance. The input from a high-speed video analysis provides valuable information to both the runner and their therapist to allow for safe and enjoyable training.
The 60-minute session includes:
- A brief history
- A video of your running form
- Immediate analysis with the physical therapist
- A physical examination to assess strength, mobility, flexibility and balance
All participants will be provided instruction on a home exercise program to address their problems. The 60-minute session costs $130.
