Granddaughter and GrandmaYou or your loved ones have spent an entire life making a happy home - why should you leave it now?

No one wants to leave the home they love. You know how much it means to continue doing things for yourself. You just want to feel that you or your loved ones are safe, that someone's looking out for you, that help will be there for you if and when you need it.

That's why Meriter Hospital offers the community the Lifeline personal emergency response service. Lifeline enables members of the community to continue living their life the way they're most comfortable living it. At home, on their own, independently.

One Press of the Button Signals Help, Instantly

Any time of the day or night, when you or your loved ones need help, all that is needed is a press of the Personal Help Button. Pressing the button activates a small in-home unit, called a Communicator, which then automatically dials the Lifeline Response Center.

In about a minute, a Lifeline monitor responds. If assistance is needed, the monitor will send appropriate help. This may mean dispatching an ambulance. It may mean calling the fire department or the police if there's suspicious noises. It may simply mean calling a next-door neighbor who can come over.

So Much Security, So Easy to Get Started

Having instant access to help from home is as easy as:

1. Calling to get the service started
2. Wearing the Personal Help Button
3. Pressing the button when help is needed
