 Meriter Hospital Medical Imaging provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist in patient care. Our primary service areas are listed at left. In each category you will find descriptions of common procedures. In these descriptions, we give an overview of why and how the procedure is done, how long the procedure takes, and how you can prepare for the procedure.
Certified/Registered Technologists and Radiologists staff Medical Imaging. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services are available through the Turville Bay MRI & Radiation Oncology Center.
Patients requiring imaging procedures need a referral and order from their physician. Routine studies are scheduled in advance; emergency procedures are performed as requested. Appointments for outpatient work are necessary and can be made by calling (608) 417-6288.

Preparation
Some imaging procedures require preparation. These instructions usually are given to you by your physician's office, but instructions also can be received when you schedule your appointment. If you have questions regarding preparation, please call (608) 417-6288.
Receiving Images
To make arrangements to pick up your images or to have them forwarded to another facility, please call the Medical Imaging Film Library at (608) 417-6277.
