Friends 4 Friends
A Community Partnership Program of Friends of Meriter

What is Friends for Friends?

Friends for Friends is a new program that supports employees, volunteers, physicians and Friends of Meriter members in their volunteer activities outside Meriter Health Services.

Support, in this case, means providing financial gifts to non-profit organizations and projects that improve the health and well-being of our community.

What Type of Awards Are Available?

Friend for Friends will grant gifts of up to $150 throughout the year. The program will also consider gifts up to $500; applications for gifts over $150 require additional information. The Friends for Friends committee reviews proposals throughout the year. The committee may also review proposals at other times if the request is time sensitive.
Please Note

The Friends 4 Friends program is managed through Volunteer Services. For more information about this department and the volunteer opportunities available, visit the Volunteer Services section.

If you have questions about this program, please call Volunteer Services at (608) 417-6414.

What Standards Will the Committee Use?

  • Benefit communities in which Meriter employees, volunteers, physicians and Friends of Meriter live and work.
  • Have Meriter employees, volunteers, physicians and Friends of Meriter involved as volunteers.
  • Provide direct services rather than general operations.
