Baby Mail - A Special Service of Meriter

When you
welcome your child into the world at the Meriter Birthing Center, you
have the special opportunity to announce your baby's arrival through
Baby Mail - Meriter's free, online birth announcement service!
Instead
of waiting for weeks to share photos of the little one with your friends
and family, you can now share your news and your baby's picture within a
few days of the birth.

 Here's How Baby Mail Works
With your consent,
we will have a digital photo taken of your baby. All you have to do is fill out a brief form and give it to
us as soon as possible. You can even choose from four photo
frame options.
Our staff then creates a customized Baby Mail for you that contains your little one's
picture, all of the important statistics and even your personal message. For security and
confidentiality purposes, we do not include any last names in Baby Mail.
Before you leave the hospital, we give you a card with
instructions on how to see your Baby Mail online.
You control access to your Baby Mail by giving this information to select people. Friends
and family all over the world will be able to see your baby once you give them this
information! Also, they will be able to write messages to your family
on the Baby Mail page.
Your Baby Mail stays on the Web site for at least two months, and then
it is deleted to make room for new Baby Mails. So, you may want to
print out copies of your Baby Mail before this time for the memory
book.

Each week, with the families' permission, we proudly display seven families'
Baby Mails to the public. Of course, having
your family's Baby Mail displayed to the public is optional; we are
still honored to design a Baby Mail for you if you choose not to participate.

Want More Information?
You will receive more information about this special service when you take a tour of
Meriter's Birthing Center during your pregnancy. Flyers describing the service also
will be available in your Birthing Center admission packet.
