Meriter's Multi-Specialty Team

The Meriter Medical Group is Meriter's multi-specialty team charged with providing convenient patient access, exceptional care and a commitment to Meriter's Mission to heal, teach and serve. The Meriter Medical Group currently includes:

• Addiction Medicine - Meriter's addiction medicine specialists work at Meriter NewStart, a comprehensive chemical dependency rehabilitation program.
• Behavioral Medicine - Meriter's psychiatrists care for adults in Meriter Hospital and provide specialized care at the Meriter Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital in southwest Madison.
• Cardiothoracic Surgeons - Meriter's talents and experienced cardiothoracic surgeons serve the Meriter Heart & Vascular Hospital and offer patients the high level of care they have come to expect from this Center of Excellence.
• Diabetes Management - Our Diabetes Care Team consists of endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, a dietitian and a health psychologist that work on an outpatient basis with patients needing guidance and support to manage or prevent diabetes.
• Endocrinology - Meriter's endocrinologist provide treatment for patients who have diabetes or disorders of pituitary gland, pancreas, thyroid, adrenal glands or endocrine system. Our endocrinologists work with patients in our medical clinics on a outpatient basis.

• Hospital Dentistry - The Max Pohle Dental Clinic offers comprehensive care and serves the community by focusing on patients with disabilities, acute or chronic medical conditions and those who are underinsured or uninsured.
• Hospital Medicine - Meriter's adult and pediatric hospitalists specialize in the care of hospitalized patients, managing all aspects of the inpatient stay so patients have a smooth, quick recovery. They also work with primary care physicians, specialists and therapists to help coordinate the care of patients.
• Internal Medicine - Meriter's internal medicine physicians provide community-focused care at Meriter's three convenient locations: McKee Road, West Washington Avenue and in Middleton.
• Orthopedic Medicine - Meriter is building a team of orthopedists who will provide state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical care.
• Pediatrics - Our team of pediatricians provide community outpatient care for children from birth through adolescence at our new Middleton location on Deming Way.
• Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Meriter's physiatrists focus on restoring function for patients with medical conditions ranging from musculoskeletal disorders to stroke and brain injury.
