Barbara J. O'Connell, MD *

For more than 15 years, Dr. O'Connell – a UW Health Physician – has been helping women who need gynecological care. She specializes in gynecology and gynecology surgery, and is fellowship trained in pediatric/adolescent gynecology. Dr. O'Connell is a highly skilled physician who adds a personal caring touch to every office visit.

Cynthia Brincat, MD, PhD *

Dr. Cynthia Brincat  – a UW Health Physician – a fellowship-trained Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon from University of Michigan Medical Center. Her research interests include quality of life issues related to pelvic floor dysfunction as well as post-partum birth injury and the pelvic floor. She specializes in pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, and generalized pelvic floor dysfunction, including non-surgical and advanced surgical approaches to symptom improvement.

Mary is a women's health nurse practitioner with special interests in midlife menopausal issues, adolescent health and menstrual issues. Marta offers highly personalized, comprehensive care for women of all ages. Her background includes providing health services to women for more than six years in a variety of settings. Her areas of special interest include preventative medicine, bone health, gynecological care, sexuality, contraception management and adolescent health. She is fluent in Spanish.
