Community clinics, like Meriter Stoughton, allow physicians to become even stronger partners in health with their patients. Meriter physicians are here to help heal those who get sick or hurt, but their primary goal is to help people stay healthy and prevent disease.

We're proud to offer extended hours for our patients' convenience. Our doctors have flexible schedules and go the extra mile to make sure you get an appointment when you need it.

Pediatric After-Hours Care
After-hours care is available to patients age 0-18 who either have a Meriter primary care physician or have Physicians Plus insurance. Located on the main level (2 Atrium) of Meriter Hospital, the Meriter After-Hours clinic is available for children who need care after normal clinic hours. Click here for more information. 

Our Meriter Stoughton Clinic Care Team

Our physicians and staff understand that to treat the whole person, they need to be partners in health – keeping you and your family well, encouraging healthy lifestyle habits and treating you when you’re sick. We provide personalized care and if necessary, will refer you to medical specialists who provide the same level of care you have come to expect from us.

Our physician team includes:

• Dr. Christopher Harkin - Family Medicine
• Dr. Vern Partello - Family Medicine 
• Dr. Douglas Kutz - Internal Medicine (Dr. Kutz will have limited office hours at the Stoughton clinic. His primary clinic will remain Meriter West Washington.)

Scheduling an Appointment

There is never a good time for an illness to arise or an injury to occur. Our staff strives to take the frustration out of appointment scheduling by accommodating your specific needs. We strive to stay on schedule, because we know how valuable your time is.

Same Day Appointments - Same day appointments are available every day our clinic is open. Call early in the morning to schedule an appointment. In order to be able to schedule ill patients on the same day they call the clinic, we hold open several appointment slots. If you feel you need to be seen on an urgent basis, we will likely ask you to speak with a clinical staff person who will assess your need and arrange for appropriate care.

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, we ask that you please notify us at least 24 hours in advance, if possible.

MyChart and Medical Records

Meriter MyChart
Securely access your medical information online at your convenience. If you receive care at this clinic and would like to access your medical information online, then click here to activate your MyChart account. After you make the request to activate your account, your personal activation code will be mailed to your home within 7 to 10 business days. Another option is to ask a clinic staff member to activate your account at your next clinic visit.

Online Bill Pay

You now have the option to pay your clinic bill online! Meriter’s online bill pay service allows you to securely submit payment for your health care bill in the most efficient manner possible – online with your credit card. To pay your clinic bill, go to meriter.com/billing.
