Informed Patients

As dermatologists, we believe that informed patients are better prepared to make decisions regarding their health and well-being. Therefore, we take the time to explain your diagnosis and treatment and have extensive handouts on the most common skin problems. We encourage you to look through this information after you leave so that you can be well educated on your particular diagnosis. Whether being seen for an occasional flare-up of a skin problem, or on a routine basis for a chronic issue, you can be confident that you will always be given the opportunity to choose the treatment option that works best for you.

General Dermatology

Dermatologists specialize in treating the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes (the lining inside the mouth, nose, and eyelids). We diagnose and treat more than 3,000 different diseases and see patients of all ages. We provide general, pediatric and procedural dermatology for many dermatologic conditions including: acne, rosacea, warts, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and also conditions of the hair and nails.

Procedural Dermatology

We are board certified dermatologists who perform outpatient surgeries which include the removal of skin cancers, moles, skin tags, cysts and other benign growths. We also provide Narrow Band UVB (Ultraviolet B) for the treatment of psoriasis,
eczema and vitiligo, among other conditions. Photodynamic therapy is available for patients with multiple pre-cancerous lesions (actinic keratoses) in sun-exposed areas. A pulsed-dye laser is available for the treatment of rosacea, broken blood vessels, warts and occasionally sun spots (lentigines).
