Mindfulness is a state of active and open attention to the present moment. In this 2-class series, we will focus on gaining skills of mindfulness meditation and relaxation techniques as they relate to labor and delivery. Through mindfulness practice, in this 2-part series, participants learn to work with challenges, such as pain and anxiety, that can often arise during the birthing experience.
