Class Cancellation Policy:
To receive a refund for a cancelled class, you must contact us prior to the start of the class. For cancellations at least 2 weeks prior to the class there is a $15.00 reprocessing fee and material replacement costs. For cancellations requested less than 2 weeks prior to the class date, there is a $25.00 reprocessing fee and a material replacement charge. There are no refunds if you cancel after the start of the class.

Meriter reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Full refunds will be issued for classes that Meriter cancels. If Meriter needs to cancel a class session due to weather, we will reschedule the class as education space and instructor time permits.

Course Accreditation
Statement of Accreditation: Meriter Hospital is accredited by the Wisconsin Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA/PRA Designation Statement: Meriter Hospital designates ACLS Recognition for a maximum of 16 hours in category 1 credit and ACLS Renewal for a maximum of 8 hours in category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Participants should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in ACLS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the association.
