Annual IRB Seminar: Minimal Risk Research


October 8, 2014  7:30 - 9:00 a.m.
The seminar is designed for IRB Members, IRB Staff, and research teams conducting human subjects research. Fulfills Meriter IRB human subjects training requirement.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants should be able to:

  1. Explain the regulatory criteria of minimal risk research.
  2. Apply the minimal risk descriptions to determine if a project is greater than minimal risk.
  3. Describe the IRB’s role in reviewing minimal risk research.

Location: Bolz Auditorium in McConnell Hall across the street from Meriter Hospital main entrance.
