The Benefits of Living in Madison, Wisconsin
Madison's unique community atmosphere offers small-town charm with a range of
cultural and recreational opportunities usually found only in larger
cities. It's also home to the highly regarded University of Wisconsin and the
seat of state government. Situated on a chain of lakes, the area is renowned for
its beautiful scenery and recreational opportunities.
Dane County's many picturesque communities surround the city, including villages
and towns that retain strong ethnic heritages. Approximately 220,000 of Dane
County's 450,000 residents live in Madison, which consistently ranks as a top
community in which to live, work, play and raise a family. Madison rates among
the nation's best for educational opportunities (pre-K through college).

The Benefits of Working at Meriter Medical Clinics
As
the Madison area grows, there is an increased request for primary care services.
As part of Meriter's mission to serve the community, we currently offer two
primary clinics. We are also working to expand our clinical practice.
The Meriter Medical Clinics
are affiliated with Meriter Hospital, a 448-bed, not-for-profit community hospital
near downtown Madison and the UW-Madison campus. A major teaching affiliate of
the University of Wisconsin and the fifth largest hospital in the state, Meriter
has an employee base of 3,500 and a medical staff of more than 1,100
non-employed physicians, representing all specialties.
